Sexual Assault

Police are investigating a serious sexual assault on a 17 year old female.

The victim was attacked near to St Faith's Church in Windmill Road, Brentford as she waited for an E2 bus. The suspect has been described as a black man, 5 feet 8 inchestall.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen or heard the incident, which took place on Bank Holiday Monday 25th May between 1am and 2.30am.

Stabbing

On Friday 22nd May at around 10pm a group of youths including were playing football in the caged football area on Clayponds Gardens, Brentford ( off Ealing Road). They were confronted by a large group of black teenagers numbering between 20-30.

One of the group approached the victim and accused him of assaulting one of his friends on a previous occasion. He head butted the victim causing him to stumble backwards and then stabbed him in his chest area. The attacked youth and the rest of the group he was with in the caged area ran away as did the group of black youths. He was taken to hospital and assessed to have only superficial injuries, although these could have been much worse.

This matter is being investigated by officers from Hounslow CID. The identity of the suspect is at this time unknown.

The caged area on Clayponds Gardens is popular amongst local teenagers where they meet and play football. This appears to be a targeted assualt as opposed to a random knife attack.

Cyclist accident

A local resident on a bicycle collided last Sunday night with a police vehicle on the junction between the High Street and Catherine Wheel Road. The cyclist has been released from hospital and is recovering at home. An investigation is ongoing.
