One man has been killed and another seriously wounded after a shooting incident on Green Dragon Lane on the 25th January.

Police were called to Fraser House at around 9.20pm to reports of shots being fired. A resident of Fraser House told the BBC that a gunman had entered a first floor flat and fired three times.

One man was killed having been shot in the head and another was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He is reported to be in a stable condition with wounds to his shoulder. Both men were in their mid-30s.

A pet dog was also shot in the leg but a woman who was in the flat escaped unhurt.

The police cordoned off the area around Fraser House and have begun a murder investigation.

An incident room open under DCI Mick Duthie. Police know there were a number of people at the address at the time of the shooting and would urge them to come forward.
