A plan has been submitted to Hounslow Council to build flats above a nursery in Brentford.

The development would be at The Little School Daycare at 42-43 Boston Park Road.

The proposal is to retain the nursery and add two floors to make the building four storeys high to provide a mix of one and two bedroom flats.

The site is located on the northern side of Boston Park Road to the east of the junction with the Great West Road (A4) and Boston Manor Road. Boston Park Road runs parallel to Great West Road and is accessed from its junction with Windmill Road to the north east.

The applicant argues that a forthcoming development at Churchill House for around 74 new flats in a building that would be 8 storeys high would mean that any additional impact of the development would be limited.

It is not known if the nursery would remain open during the construction period.

The application form states that it is intended to commence work on the project in December with completion expected in January 2024.

The application reference is P/2020/4431.
