Three men were on the wrong end of a savage assault from a group of youths in Brentford last weekend. The incident occured on Saturday 8th April 2006 at 0030 in London Road, Brentford opposite the junction with Commerce Road. The victims were 3 males, two aged 49, one aged 48.

They had been drinking in a local public house and were on their way home when they had an altercation with what is believed to be 3 younger men.

Two of the victims were punched to the ground and one of the men was kicked repeatedly in the head. All 3 were taken to West Middlesex Hospital where they were treated for head injuries. Two of the victims discharged themselves without treatment but one man was more seriously injured and was detained with a suspected fractured jaw.

The 3 suspects were believed to be aged between 16 and 20 years old, two were white males and the other was a black male.

The black male was seen to jump on the most seriously injured victim's head. He was about 5'10", wearing a cream hoody jumper, dark tracksuit bottoms or jeans. One of the white males was wearing a dark coloured cap, dark tracksuit top and jeans or dark trousers.

This is quite a busy spot even in the early hours and police are hopeful that this assault was seen by others.
