On Wednesday 15th March 2006 at about 0100. An attempted robbery in Algar Road, Isleworth. The victim was a 19 year old man. The victim was approached in Twickenham Road by two suspects in a black Metro. They threatened him with beer bottles from which they were drinking. The victim attempted to flee by running along Byfield Road into Algar Road. He was cut off by the Metro and cornered by the suspects who demanded his phone and wallet.

Hearing the noise a 33 year old lady came out of her house to help but was hit over the head with a bottle. She threw a brick through the Metro’s back window as it left the scene towards South Street, causing it to smash.

Both victims were conveyed to West Middlesex Hospital by ambulance for treatment to minor cuts and bumps. The suspects were described as white males, about 21 years, the main instigator being 5’10”, wearing a white cap with a Nike logo, dark blue T shirt, dark jumper, black jeans, white trainers.
