Police are appealing for information following a burglary and theft of a car in the Brentford area.

The break-in took place at Boston Gardens at night or in the early morning of 9th/10th January.

At this stage it remains unclear how access was gained to the property. The possibility of this being a 'letterbox' style break-in has not been ruled out.

The victim was a 65 year old female who lost her handbag which contained £100 and $100 cash, her house and car keys, some Armani perfume and credit cards.

The thieves made off with the victim's car a green Nissan Almeira registration P645 GMG which is valued at around £2,500.
