Two adults and five children fled a fire which broke out in a house in Osterley this Saturday (19 November).

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to tackle the blaze which started on the ground floor of the property in Bassett Gardens.

The occupants left before the arrival of the Brigade and were taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews for precautionary checks.

The Brigade was called at 5.08pm and the fire was under control at 6.25pm. Fire crews from Heston, Feltham and Southall fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
