A fifteen year old schoolboy was attacked with a knife after resisting a pair of muggers who were attempting to rob him.

The incident occured in Redlees Park on Tuesday 26th September at about 15.15.

The victim was on his bike by the goal posts in the middle of the park when he was approached by two male suspects who asked him for money and started to pat him down.

The victim punched one of the suspects in the face. He was struck back and sustained cuts to his arm. It seems the suspect was armed with a small knife. The victim then struck the other suspect in the face. The suspects left the scene and the victim went to West Middlesex Hospital where he was treated for his injuries, which required five stitches.

The suspects were Asian males, about 15 years. The first was wearing a navy blue hooded top and grey tracksuit bottoms, 6’ tall. The second suspect was wearing cream/grey tracksuit bottoms and a grey hooded top, 5’10”.
