Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire on London Road in Isleworth this Sunday night (9 November).

The blaze took hold in a flat on the third floor above a parade of shops including the Nisa Local and the Isleworth Food Court.

After being called at 11:03pm, crews from Heston, Chiswick and Ealing fire stations were sent and it took them just over an hour to get the fire extinguished.

The flat where the fire started was badly damaged but there were no reports of any injuries. The cause of the fire has been recorded as undetermined.
