Mystery surrounds the appearance of swirls of white paint - if it is paint - on the pavements of Brentford.

The swirling patterns have been noted around the area, with incidents being reported in Braemar Road, Brook Rd South (twice) and the High Street.

The substance may be paint or it may be something else - Griffin Park Chair Steve Curran has asked the Council's Environmental Health Officer to take a look. It may be mindless vandalism or it may be art - the swirls look like they were made with a degree of care.
