Brentford FC fought back from two goals down to earn a replay in their FA Cup match with Southampton. And if they triumph over the Saints in the replay, FA Cup holders Manchester United will visit Griffin Park in the next round .

Brentford fell behind early on in Saturday's match against the Premier League side and were 2-0 down after 25 minutes. However, Martin Allen's side rallied to score almost immediately and levelled the match in the second half. For much of the later stages of the tie Brentford were in charge and could have won the match near the end. Just before the final whistle Brentford suffered a scare when Southampton put the ball in the net; however an offside decision - which TV replays suggest was given in error - meant that the game finished 2-2.

The replay will be at Griffin Park on Tuesday March 1st, unless live TV coverage requires the date to change.

Tickets for the replay go on sale on Monday 21st to season ticket holders only. From Tuesday, members of Bees United and other supporters' groups will be able to buy, with any remaining tickets going on sale on Thursday. Bees officials will be keen to avoid a repeat of the controversy surrounding sales of tickets to the fixture at Southampton, which saw many supporters unable to buy tickets for the match. The big screen set up at Griffin Park attracted around 2000 fans who were treated to a special message from manager Martin Allen before kick off.
