Griffin Park Centenary Celebrations

Old memorabilia sought by Gunnersbury Park Museum

Brentford FC is celebrating 100 years of playing football at Griffin Park over the next season and plans are underway to mark the centenary in style.

Gunnersbury Park Museum is a hive of activity as they collect material for their exhibition opening in September - "The Bees Knees - Celebrating 100 Years of Brentford FC at Griffin Park".

Curator Vanda Foster told BrentfordTW8.com: "We have already got recorded interviews from many fans and supporters and have been collecting programmes, photographs and a whole range of memorabilia. We still need more photos, badges, programmes etc. - especially from the 1950s to 1970s. We are also looking for sponsors to help us make this a really lively, family-friendly exhibition.

For further details, contact Vanda Foster at Gunnersbury Park Museum at gp-museum@cip.org.uk.
