A man has been charged with a range of offences including rape, kidnap and possession of a firearm. Christopher Karim Islander age 26 year of 22 Elmer Gardens was remanded in custody at Feltham Magistrates court on Monday 18 September.

He was charged with two counts of possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence, one count of kidnap and eight sexual offences including one count of rape.

Police are appealing for witnesses to two events that haverecently taken place in Elmer Gardens, Isleworth. They would like to know if you saw any behaviour which you might have considered to be suspicious during the night of Tuesday 12th - Wednesday 13th September between the hours of midnight and 6am. Did you see or hear any noise coming from the street.

There was also an incident that took place between outside 22 Elmer Gardens 3pm - 3.20pm on Thursday 14th September. Witnesses to what happened are being sought.

Supt Chalk from Hounslow Police Station said, "These are very serious offences and can understandably cause concern within the community. To provide some reassurance I can say we are not currently looking for any other suspects in relation to these offences."
