Police are appealling for witnesses following a burglary in Thirlmere House, Summerwood Road, Isleworth on Friday 11th August at 0320. The victim was a 30 year old man.

The victim was asleep when suspects forced open the front door of his 5th floor flat. He was struck across his legs with a hammer and the suspects demanded his vehicle car keys and log book amongst other things.

The suspects drove off in the victim’s blue Volkswagen Golf, which was eventually abandoned outside London. Also taken were two mobile phones and a watch, valued at about £500.

An ambulance was called but the victim’s injuries were not serious enough to require hospital treatment.
