A man has been charged with the murder of Amélie Delagrange, at Twickenham Green, on 20th August 2004 and the attempted murder of Kate Sheedy in Worton Road Isleworth on 28th May 2004.

Delagrange,22, was attacked on Twickenham Green on her way home from a night out. Sheedy, then 18 , suffered severe injuries after being deliberately run over by a car in Worton Road. Head Girl at Gumley School at the time of the attack she has since made a full recovery.

The man charged is Levi Bellfield, a 37 year-old wheelclamper and nightclub doorman. He is also being charged with another attempted murder and a case of kidnapping and false imprisonment of a woman in Hospital Bridge Road, Twickenham.
