Crime fall marred by increase in violence figures

Latest figures revealed for Brentford and Isleworth

Latest crime figures show that there was a 15% increase in violent crime in Brentford and Isleworth last year compared with figures from 2003.

The report by the Community Safety team at Hounslow Council shows that overall crime fell by 3%, with large falls in street crime and motor vehicle crime. The situation was worse towards Brentford - Isleworth itself recording a fall in the level of violent crime.
