A postman has been assaulted whilst delivering letters in Brentford.

The assault happened in Carville Crescent on Saturday 12th February at 9.45am. The postman was approached by a white male around 6 ft tall, of medium build with a skinhead haircut and a pierced left ear, aged around 26.

He asked the postman if he had any Giros in his postbag. When the postman replied in the negative the suspect punched him in the head, causing him to fall to the ground. He then attempted to kick the postman, although the victim managed to avoid the kick. The suspect then ran off.

Luckily the postman received only minor injuries and did not need medical aid.
