Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious assault in Isleworth on Wednesday 27th October 2004.

Police and the ambulance service were called at 20:29 to an address in Holdernesse Close, Isleworth TW7 to reports of a male in his 20's, believed to have suffered burns to face body and arms.

It is believed that the victim was walking down this road when he was assaulted by a group of males and had a corrosive substance thrown into his face.

The suspects then made off in what is described as a purple/blue Renault Hatchback Vehicle Registration- P392 -LX or very similar.

The victim was taken to a West London hospital suffering from serious facial and body injuries, where he remains. His condition is not thought life threatening.

The suspects are described as a group of six to nine black males in their early twenties. One of the suspects was described as 5’11” medium build, with a prominent nose and wearing a blue hooded top.
