Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to blaze in a house in Lateward Road, Brentford, in the early hours of the 24th October. The fire damaged part of the ground floor.

Three people left the property before the Brigade arrived. They included a man aged 30 and a woman aged 50 who were taken to West Middlesex Hospital where they were treated for smoke inhalation. They have since been discharged.

The Brigade was called at 0308 and the fire was under control by 0347. Crews from Chiswick, Heston and Ealing fire stations were at the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
