Like last year Rashmi Uppal (one of the trustees) will be doing the London to Brighton Bike Ride on Sunday 18th June in order to raise money for Brentford Child Contact Centre. She is seeking sponsorship for this event and is asking for contributions of any size from Brentford residents and businesses.

“The contact centre has helped me to see my children regularly and to start interaction with them. It helped me to build a bond with them.” A Parent.

The centre offers a safe meeting place for non resident parents to meet their children and build a relationship with them. Evidence shows this helps in the child to grow up into a well balanced adult.  This year the contact centre received 117 enquiries from new families wishing to take on the services offered by the contact centre and were able to offer contact to 67 families overall.

The trust was threatened with closure earlier this year due to lack of funds, and all contributions will be received with pleasure.
