Reunión is a bar with a Spanish accent, newly launched (January 2018) in the lobby of Urban Villa hotel in Brentford, West London. As the name suggests, the food and drinks menu is inspired by the continent accompanied by excellent hospitality to offer a warm welcome to Brentford locals and hotel guests whatever the weather outside.

The drinks menu features Spanish wine, organic where possible, and deliciously crisp + & + Cava for special occasions. However, the bar's speciality is its long list of Gins, which are served Mediterranean style in large balloon glasses with unique twists and garnishes. From chocolate stuffed olives to cherry tomatoes - the team of experienced bar staff have devised garnishes to complement the botanicals in each artisan Gin. Each gin has a story for example Silent Pool Gin is made in Surrey while Gin Mare is made in a small distillery in Spain using local olives.

Beer lovers will be happy to find San Miguel on tap. Cocktail fans are catered for with Spanish twists on classics including a Bloody Sherry (a Bloody Mary substituting the vodka for sherry) and a Agua de Valencia (an Aperol spritz using cava instead of prosecco with fresh orange juice from Valencia).

Breakfast service starts at 7am with Extract coffee, which supports fairtrade coffee bean farming. As well as croissants and pain au chocolats, Reunion's got Ensaimada's and Palmeras along with croissants filled with fresh ingredients like brie and fig and roasted vegetables as well as jamon and cheese. Every day, you'll find fresh tortilla cooked on site and a new soup of the day. There's also a super green juice and a berry juice to grab vitamins on the go.

Reunión is located within the Urban Villa hotel in the Great West Quarter Development, brought to the hotel by Ben Walton and Shane Gardiner from acclaimed London restaurant Ben's Canteen. With two Ben's Canteens in Clapham and Earlsfield and one coming soon in the old Battersea Power Station, Ben's is expanding after a successful crowdfunding campaign.

The high-ceiling bar and café space surrounded by floor to ceiling windows can comfortably seat 75 people. There is also a walled garden, meaning another 40 people can sit outside making use of deckchairs or traditional patio seats and tables. A covering on the garden means al fresco drinks can be enjoyed all year round. Interiors by NYC architects Gryzwinski + Pons (designers for New York's Nolitan hotel and Edinburgh's Eden Locke hotel) use simple finishes to create a light, welcoming and warm space. The look is contemporary with contrasts of industrial and copper light fittings, a wall of plants, communal beaches as well as individual tables and playful items like beanbags and a fussball table.

Reunión is located at Kew Eye Tower, GWQ Development, London TW8 0FL. The nearest underground is South Ealing (Piccadilly Line), train is Brentford, or access via the 65 or H91 bus routes.
