are the schools in London Borough of Hounslow that have registered their interest through the Department of Education website.

It is important to note that this is a registration of interest for further information and should not be taken to imply that the school has made any decision or commitment to proceed with the process.

For those of you contemplating secondary schools this September, Drayton Manor High School in Ealing, Christ's Church of England Comprehensive Secondary, Grey Court and Waldegrave School for Girls, in Richmond upon Thames have also registered their interest.

There is much controversy surrounding the proposed Academies Bill, not least of all that the funding details have not yet been decided so schools do not know what they are signing up for.

It should also be mentioned that the petition regarding secondary schools in Brentford that was submitted to the borough's previous administration, has still not received a formal response.
