Shopkeepers in Hounslow and Brentford have the chance to bid for grants to give their stores a facelift. Shops on Brentford High Street, Half Acre and Boston Manor Road from Brentford Lock up to the A4 are eligible.

Up to £160,000 is available to traders who want to spruce up their shop front.

The makeover money is part of wider plans to regenerate Hounslow and Brentford.

The scheme will focus on funding improvements to the exterior of shops and we will consider other ideas for improvement.

It will also offer additional business support to help businesses improve their merchandising, marketing, and financial skills.

We will support applicants through the application process and during the entire design and implementation process.

Applicants have up to Monday 18 November to enter their proposals.

The shop-fronts improvements scheme is funded by the Mayor of London’s Outer London Fund and London Borough of Hounslow.

The application form, guidelines and qualifying criteria can be accessed at LB Hounslow.
