The Green School for Boys?

The Green School Trust have applied to open a new free CofE boys' school

The Green School Trust propose opening a new school for boys only to open in September 2016.

The application has been submitted to the Department for Education and a result is expected by Easter.

There is a prospective parents evening on Monday 24th February from 7-8.30pm at The Green School.

While no one is doubting the need for a new secondary school in Brentford, the first priority should be for an inclusive co-educational community school as the nearest ones are Elthorne Park (in LB of Ealing) and Chiswick school' both of which are heavily oversubscribed.

The Green School Trust claim their school will be inclusive but with 50% of the places being 'Foundation' and 50% 'Open', religious faith will play a factor.
