Free NHS Health Check

Everything you wanted to know about yourself but were too afraid to ask?

An NHS health team, including a doctor, will be giving free advice on how to stay healthy at St Paul’s Church between 3- 7pm, on Tuesday 18th May 2010.

Free NHS Health Checks are available to local residents aged 40 to 74 years old.

The NHS Health Check includes:
• Cholesterol and Blood Glucose tests
• Blood pressure
• Waist measurement and Body Mass Index (are you the right weight for your height?)
• Carbon monoxide levels measured
• Help to give up smoking
• Advice on healthy eating
• Advice on getting active
• Information and freebies to help you keep your teeth healthy
