St Faith’s Players is inviting you to an immersive Murder Mystery performance set in wartime Britain.

Taking place on Saturday 12 July there will WWII-inspired party food style buffet with nostalgic favourites and rations reimagined. Dig out your victory rolls, suspenders, uniforms, or utility dress. There is a prize for the best dressed plus swing music, vintage décor, and plenty of atmosphere to transport you back to the '40s.

An unforgettable evening of intrigue, deception, and good old-fashioned sleuthing is promised, all set against the backdrop of a jubilant VE Day street party. The wine and beer may be flowing at the licensed bar, but so is the suspicion. When a body turns up amongst the turnips, it’s up to you to uncover the truth.

Doors open 6.45pm at St Faiths Church Hall, Windmill Road with food served at 7pm.

Tickets cost £16 for adult and £10 for children 12 and under which includes a 4-course wartime style buffet (including melon starter, sandwiches, sausage rolls, crisps, salad etc., puddings and cheese course). If you have any dietary requirements/allergies, make this known when booking.

Tickets available from the St Faith’s Players web site.

St Faith’s Players started performing in St Faith’s Church Hall in 1977 with a concert to celebrate the Queen’s Silver Jubilee. Since then, hundreds of people have taken to the boards, built sets, painted scenery and sewn costumes to keep the shows coming, with an annual pantomime a highlight.
