Thefts of pedal cycles are an increasing problem. Thieves that steal your bike will use them to commit crimes. Protect yourself and your bike and help to put a STOP to this type of crime……

Cyclists, if you would like to receive some free crime prevention advice about how to protect your bike from this type of crime or safety tips when using your bike on the road you can visit Syon Safer Neighbourhood Team at:

Market Square, High Street, Brentford
between 12pm and 2pm
on Tuesday 2nd March 2010
 
You will also be able to register your bike with the property database Immobilise which is a database the police use to track owners of stolen bikes. Not only will you receive your bike back if it is found by police after being stolen, but anyone in possession of it may be arrested.

WiZZBiKE will also be joining us on the day where their maintenance staff will be on hand to carry out maintenance checks and also be able to advise you on anything you may want to know concerning your bike.
