Event showcasing a wide range of work by resident and guest artists
November 14, 2025 Redlees Studios in Isleworth will open its doors to the public from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 November for its annual Winter Open Studios event—this year marking a special milestone: 30 years since the Victorian stable block was first converted into artist studios. The three-day event will showcase a wide range of work by resident and guest artists, including ceramics, painting, jewellery, textiles, sculpture, glass, drawing and mixed media. Visitors will be able to explore the studios, meet the artists, and view work both in the main gallery and in individual workspaces. A new cohort of artists who joined the studios over the summer will be exhibiting for the first time, including the return of glass artists—absent from Redlees for nearly a decade. The studios, located in Redlees Park on Worton Road, occupy a former stable block once part of the Farnell Watson estate, a prominent Isleworth brewing family. The building’s distinctive clock tower remains a local landmark, and the studios have become a creative hub for west London since their founding in 1995. To mark the 30th anniversary, this year’s event will include a special exhibition on the history of the building, featuring personal reflections from artists who have worked at Redlees over the years. Organisers describe the occasion as a celebration of the building’s transformation and its role in nurturing local creativity. Visitors can also enjoy refreshments at Marcel’s popular pop-up café, which will be serving drinks and homemade cakes throughout the weekend. The studios will be open on Friday 28 November from 6pm to 9pm for an opening night celebration, and on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 November from 11am to 5pm. Entry and parking are free. Redlees Studios is located at Redlees Park, Worton Road, Isleworth TW7 6DW. For more information, visit the Redlees Studios website or follow them on social media for updates
