It's got nothing to do with Vorsprung durch Technik
May 7, 2026 There will be a chance to explore Brentford’s riverside paths and green spaces again this summer as Fairview New Homes brings back Park Life, its free weekend cycling initiative designed to help people explore the neighbourhood on two wheels. Running every Saturday and Sunday from 9 May to the end of September, the scheme invites prospective buyers and curious locals to discover Brentford at their own pace with complimentary bike hire, helmets, locks and a curated route starting from Fairview’s Printmakers Yard development on Brentford High Street. Between 10am and 3pm, solo riders or pairs can collect their bikes and set off on a suggested loop that takes in some of West London’s most scenic corners. The route leads through the sweeping grounds of Syon Park, along the Thames towpath and into neighbouring Richmond, offering a glimpse of the waterside lifestyle Fairview is keen to showcase. Syon Park’s 200 acres of landscaped grounds have featured in productions from Emma to Bridgerton.
Participants will also enjoy a complimentary lunch at the historic riverside pub The London Apprentice when it reopens in June, before rounding off their day with a voucher for Everyman Cinema, Brentford’s boutique picture house. David Dee, Sales Manager at Fairview New Homes, said the initiative is designed to give people a feel for the area before they consider making it home. “Printmakers Yard offers the best of riverside living — scenic views of the Thames, a thriving local culture, and green spaces right on the doorstep,” he said. “With Waterloo just 30 minutes away, it’s a compelling choice for buyers seeking both connectivity and lifestyle. Our Park Life initiative is all about encouraging newcomers to grab a bike, explore and experience the riverside lifestyle that could be theirs.” Printmakers Yard offers a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, along with four-bedroom triplexes, with prices starting from £349,000. Park Life is free but spaces are limited. To register your interest, email parklife@fairview.co.uk.
