Brentford's Printmakers Yard hosts cycling tours for flat buyers
August 6, 2025 A series of free weekend cycling tours will launch this Saturday (9 August) at Printmakers Yard in Brentford, offering residents and visitors a chance to explore the area’s riverside charm. Running until late September, the initiative dubbed ‘Park Life’ by developer Fairview Homes, is part of a summer campaign encouraging potential homebuyers to get a feel for the neighbourhood via an informal day out on two wheels. Participants can collect bikes, helmets, and route suggestions from the development’s marketing suite on Brentford High Street between 10am and 4pm every Saturday and Sunday through to September. The programme includes stop-offs at green spaces such as Syon Park, as well as a complimentary lunch at The London Apprentice pub and cinema tickets for Everyman Brentford. The route guides riders past the Thames towpath and into neighbouring Richmond, offering views of historic parkland that has featured in television and film productions. All equipment is provided on site. The Printmakers Yard development sits along the Brentford waterside, near local amenities such as Morrisons, Sam’s Waterside restaurant, and Gail’s Bakery. While geared towards prospective buyers, the cycling tours offer a broader opportunity to experience Brentford’s evolving urban character. Organisers say the programme is a chance for newcomers to explore before committing to a move. All the people interested in taking part are invited to email parklife@fairview.co.uk to help organisers manage numbers.
