Brentford Celebrates National Bookstart Day

Bring along your bucket and spade for a seaside song and rhyme

“Oh I do like to be beside the seaside”

It’s a seaside theme for National Bookstart Day 2010 so bring your bucket and spade along to Brentford library and join in the fun

 To celebrate the fun of sharing books children aged four years and under are invited along to a seaside song and rhyme time session hosted by Brentford Library in celebration of National Bookstart Day. 

The seaside themed event is a perfect opportunity to share your favourite rhymes, learn new ones and even dress up for the sun shine in summer hats. 

The event includes crafts, competitions, prizes and snacks and free Bookstart packs are available for collection for all children under four years.  

The event will be held on Thursday 10th June and starts at 2pm.

Brentford Library is on Boston Manor Road at the junction with Windmill Road, TW8 8DW.
