This December, the Hounslow Symphony Orchestra is set to deliver a festive spectacular with a heroic twist. Their annual family Christmas concert, Walking in a Hollywood Wonderland: Episode III – Superheroes, takes place on Saturday 13 December at 3pm at St Mary’s Church, Osterley Road, Isleworth (TW7 4PW).

Under the baton of music director Dorian Dimitrov, the orchestra will bring to life some of cinema’s most iconic superhero soundtracks. Expect bold, heart-pounding themes and sweeping orchestral colour from favourites including:

  • Guardians of the Galaxy
  • Superman
  • Spider-Man
  • The Dark Knight Suite
  • The Incredibles
  • Heroes of the Marvel Universe
  • Wonder Woman
  • James Bond

The concert will close with audience carol singing, sending everyone home with warmth, joy, and festive cheer.

Tickets cost £10 or £5 for under 18s. A family ticket (2+ children) costs £25 (saving £5).

Tickets available via Hounslow Symphony Orchestra’s website.

HSO says it aims to be the friendliest orchestra in London. It is an amateur orchestra of around 55 players which plays three concerts each season, usually at St Mary’s Church and St Paul’s Church, 56 Grove Park Road, Chiswick, W4 3SB.

It concentrates on the standard classical and romantic repertoire and from time to time perform contemporary works.
