Pixie Lott, Scouting for Girls and The Wanted 2.0 join a host of celebrity chefs
May 23, 2025 This Bank Holiday weekend sees the return of the Foodies Festival to Syon Park. The annual 3-day event has a mixture of live music with food provided by celebrity chefs. From Saturday 24 to Monday 26 May there will be a chance to hear headline acts such as Pixie Lott, Scouting For Girls and Max George and Siva Kaneswaran from The Wanted 2.0. Styling itself as the ‘Gastro-Glastonbury’, there will also be live cooking demonstrations from TV celebrities and chefs drawn from the ranks of MasterChef, Great British Bake Off and Great British Menu, plus other Michelin and award-winning chefs. Those appearing this year include television personality, Atul Kochhar, Great British Menu 2024 banquet winner, Ben Palmer, MasterChef champions, Thomas Frake and Dhruv Baker and finalist, Anurag Aggarwal, MasterChef: The Professionals champion, Alex Webb and 2024 stars, Ritchie Stainsby, Ayesha Kalaji and William Joshua, Great British Bake Off 2024 contestant, Hazel Vaughan, Channel 4’s Extreme Cake Makers star, Eloise Durrant, Channel 4 chef and author, Radhika Howarth, TV chef and author, Dipna Anand, Channel 4 bread expert, Jack Sturgess, and TV personality and Sunday Times Best Selling Author, Dale Pinnock Others taking part are Head Chef, Long Ng, from Michelin starred Taku, Mayfair, Head Chef, Andres Quevedo Sanabria, from 2AA Rosette awarded Rayuela in Ealing, Chef-Patron, Joe Laker, from Michelin recommended Counter 71, Shoreditch, Head Chef, Jack Ward, from Rick Stein, Barnes, and Michelin trained Head Chef, Joshua Hunter, from Holland and Holland, Northwood. Pixie Lott, said, “Summer festival season, food heaven, music and sunshine - what’s not to love! It’s my first year joining the Foodies Festival tour; I’m so excited to experience the festival and hit London with my band. I love family days out at festivals and this one ticks all the boxes!” Siva Kaneswaren added, “It’s exciting to be back out performing all The Wanted hits and seeing our lovely fans again. We’re both big food lovers and have tried some amazing cuisine around the world on our tours - but having it all in one place to try, amazing!" In the Chefs Theatre, celebrities will create their signature dishes and share new tips and tricks, whilst in the Cake & Desserts Theatre, patisserie chefs and star bakers whip up showstoppers and offer tempting sweet treats. In the Kids Cookery School, Foodies SuperChefs aim to make cooking fun, helping younger guests to prepare delicious food which they can take away and enjoy. Masterclasses in the Drinks Theatre include tutored Champagne, Beer, Cider, Cocktail and Wine-tasting with ITV and BBC drinks experts Helen Fairbrother, London Sales Manager at Guinness Homes, said, “Guinness Homes are always looking for ways to support the local communities we’re a part of, and so when we saw that Foodies Festival was taking place so close to our Alperton development, The One Hundred, we just knew we had to become a partner. Our team is looking forward to dropping by, meeting visitors and sampling the delicious food.” Other activities include, Flaming hot action at the Fire stage with BBQ masters, Chilli Eating competitions, Silent, Disco, fairground rides, children’s activities and family-friendly areas. There are still tickets available and standard adult tickets cost £25 for one day or £49 for all three days of the festival and can be purchased online.
