Local Band Krosfire to play Docking Station

Rocking Good Music in Brentford

Formed of three members, Drummer Allen Roberts recalls how the band came to be:
“All of us got together, picked up our instruments and started making noise that sounded like music!  Now, 13 years on, all we want is to make people rock out with our tunes. We love what we do and hope our audience connect with our love for music.”  

Established in 1998, Krosfire are a product of the West London music scene. With previous performances in venues from Iver Heath to Chiswick, the group also headlined the Cliff Music Festival in 2005 & 2006 and are well known for their unique approach to reinventing classic tracks.

Roberts describes the band as:
“Along the lines of Queen; with hard hitting rock to bop your head to whilst also creating thought provoking music that touches the soul.”

The 3 members of Krosfire are:
Allen Roberts – Drummer. Allen is the driving force behind the beats of the band. His weapons of choice are Carrera Snare Drums and he has played as backing support for Chesney Hawkes, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Brian May. Allen also runs Disabled Drums UK in association with Yamaha Drums, Zildjian Cymbols and Protection Racket Cases, bringing music to disabled people.

Paul Hale – Vocalist & Lead Guitarist. The front man of the trio, Paul has vast experience across the music scene having worked with such music luminaries as Red Hot Chilli Pepper musicians Flea and Chad Smith as well as Alice Cooper’s lead guitarist Glen Buxton. Pre-Krosfire, Paul was a teacher at The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford.

Paul Read – Bass Guitarist. Paul has performed across the club circuit to a diverse range of audiences for many years and is considered one of the most established talents in London today. Paul has also put in the odd performance as a solo artist from time to time.

Krosfire continue to grow their style – developing classic remakes of I Shot the Sheriff, Sweet Dreams and Video Killed the Radio Star. Not withstanding their quirky approach to covers, the band constantly surprise audiences with their auditory quality as well as the occasional rocking, original track.

Doors open for what is to be an electrifying event at 7.30pm, with a £5 admission price.
