Flat Searched Under Anti Terrorism Act

As part of a wider West London Operation

Officers from Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism unit searched a Brentford flat in Lincoln House, Ealing Road this week after a search warrant was executed on Monday morning under the Anti Terrorism Act .

Four other properties were also being searched as part of a West London operation.

Police are anxious to stress that there is no enhanced risk to local residents at this point.

Chief Inspector of Operations at Hounslow, Rod Charles, said: "I would like to reassure the public. If there was anything untoward then we would let them know.There's nothing they should be concerned about at this time."
