A teenager has been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Isleworth.

The police say they were called to London Road near West Thames College on Wednesday 17 May after a 27-year-old man was found with knife wounds. He was taken to hospital where is injuries were assessed as neither life-changing nor life-threatening.

Although the incident occurred in the vicinity of West Thames College, the police say that there was no link with the college.

Two days later on Friday 19 May, 18-year-old Ashley De Sousa Araujo, 18, of Redford Close, Feltham, was charged.

He is set to appear at the Central Criminal Court on the Friday 16 June .
