Man Stabbed to Death After Break-in at House in Brentford | |
Police arrest seven men and three women on suspicion of murder April 27, 2023 A man was fatally stabbed in Brentford in the early hours of Wednesday morning (26 April) after a reported break-in. The police say they were called to Brentwick Gardens at 5.15am following reports of intruders at the address. Neighbours have reported hearing shouting at the time of the incident. On arrival a man was discovered in the street with stab injuries and London Air Ambulance helicopter was called. Despite the efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries are underway to notify next of kin. The police have arrested seven men and three women on suspicion of murder and they remain in custody. A cordon has been put in place around the scene and police are conducting house to house inquiries as well as asking for security camera footage. West Area BCU Detective Superintendent Figo Forouzan who is responsible for the Criminal Investigation Department, said, "This is a truly shocking incident that will understandably cause the community concerns. I want to reassure the Hounslow residents that we have commenced a thorough investigation with the support of our homicide investigation team to ensure those responsible are brought to justice. Cllr Ajmer Grewal, Cabinet Member for Safety at Hounslow Council said, “We are saddened to hear of the death of a man in Brentwick Gardens, Brentford this morning.
