Brentford - what are your views?

Your views on Brentford matter and are important, so tell us what you think!

Brentford Community Council is an independent organisation established in 1989 with a  mission to represent the general interests of the area with any person or agency who might affect it.

We are conducting this survey as part of the Brentford Sustainable Community Strategy for four reasons, to:

• Identify and publicise what is available in the community and how to access it
• Use the information to improve Hounslow Council planning and provision.
• Maximise available funding to Brentford organisations.
• Create a community action plan to improve community coordination and make Brentford a better place to both live and work in.

To ensure that we get meaningful results that focus on different needs we have split the survey to cover the main groups of people and organisations in Brentford.  So you can choose which survey applies to you.  So if you are completing the survey as:

1. an individual, i.e. you live, work or play in Brentford please complete the survey for individuals or find out more about what’s in it for you.
2. a business, whether as a sole trader, small business or multinational please complete the survey for businesses or find out more about what’s in it for you.
3. a voluntary/small group or charity please complete the survey for charities or find out more about what’s in it for you.
4. a statutory organisation such as a medical practice or school please complete the survey for statutory groups or find out more about what’s in it for you.

You might be in more than one group (eg you both live and run a business in Brentford) and if you are please take all the surveys that apply to you. We also ask that you pass on this communication to everyone you know who has a connection with Brentford so as many people participate.

Your contribution is important to us.  As a thank you and the first stage of publicising our community, once you have completed the survey, we ask your permission to publish your name and/or organisational name together with a website and/or blog address (if you have one).  You can of course opt out of this and your details are kept confidential in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
