Big Lottery funds help keeping Brentford safe
On the 1st October Mary Macleod MP for Brentford and Isleworth visited Brentford Business Watch (BBW) as part of a day long programme to see local Lottery funded projects in action. The visit was organised by the Big Lottery which funds BBW through its Awards for All. Ms Macleod was accompanied by Alison Rowe of the Big Lottery. In welcoming the visitors Roy Branch Chair of BBW thanked Ms Macleod for taking the time to hear about BBW’s work and paid tribute to the Big Lottery for providing £4,000 funding which is a major source of funding for BBW’s radio contact initiative for local businesses. Ms Macleod expressed her admiration for the work undertaken by BBW and indicated a willingness to help where possible in the future. These sentiments were echoed by Alison Rowe. The visit was kindly hosted by BBW member Quilliams and was attended by other members of BBW. October 12, 2010 |
