Brentford Festival 2013 is Happening

But it's moving to Ealing (just)

It's official: The Brentford Festival is on for 2013 but it is moving its location to Blondon Park.

The Brentford Festival Committee can finally announce that their new location in 2013 will be Blondin Park.  Where do I hear you say?  It may be a little known park to many but it is just up the road from the original site in Boston Manor Park and ticks all the boxes.  Although classed as an Ealing park it has houses on two sides that are within Brentford so no one need feel left out.  Although it is a slightly smaller park, because it does not have a flyover running through ....and it is missing a canal! it should not need to downsize.

So the date for the diary is Sunday 1st September 2013 and will start at 12 noon.  The website www.brentfordfestival.org.uk will be continually updated with progress.

Would you like to volunteer to help in the planning to help deliver this popular West London event?  The first planning meeting will take place on Monday 21st January at 7 p.m. in the Pavilion (opposite the children’s playground by the car park in Boston Manor Park)  ...the more the merrier.  If you are unable to attend but wish to be involved either in the planning or on the day please feel free to contact Linda, Event Manager on linda.massey@brentfordfestival.org.uk  or 07831 106973.
