Try out the game at the club's training ground
February 25, 2026 Brentford FC Community Sports Trust is inviting local residents to take part in a new five-week taster block of walking football, running from Wednesday 25 February to Wednesday 25 March at the Brentford FC Training Ground in Osterley. The weekly sessions take place from 10.30am to 11.30am and are open to all adults aged 18 and over. Walking football is designed to offer a fun, low-impact way to stay active, combining gentle exercise with the social side of team sport. The Trust describes the pilot as an opportunity for people of all abilities to enjoy football at a relaxed pace, whether they are returning to the game after a break or trying it for the first time. Each session aims to create a friendly, supportive atmosphere where participants can build fitness, confidence and connections with others. The sessions will be held on the astroturf pitches at the training ground, and while there are specific footwear requirements, Brentford FC will have suitable boots available for anyone who needs them. The programme is free to attend, and participants can book for one or more sessions using the online link provided. The walking football taster block takes place at Brentford FC Training Ground, 100 Jersey Road, Osterley, Hounslow TW5 0TP. For further information, residents can contact the Trust at health@brentfordfccst.com.
