Expanded store to reopen in the Summer

Superstore chain Morrisons has announced that they are to take over the Somerfield store in Brentford.

The existing staff will keep their jobs and the store is to be expanded with up to 80 new jobs to be created in the area. The retention of existing staff was a condition of the sale.

The Somerfield store is due to close on April 22nd and will be closed for a few months with reopening planned for later in the Summer. The new store will have more departments than the previous one.

Morrisons are currently recruiting for another newly acquired store in Hounslow.
