Rabbit-Faced Story Soup at the Watermans
Perrier Award Winner LAURA SOLON (BBC 1’s Harry and Paul, Radio 4’s Talking and Not Talking) returns with her first show since 2005: The multi-character narrative comedy and SELL OUT HIT at the Edinburgh Festival 2009, RABBIT FACED STORY SOUP, presented for the first time at Watermans.
RABBIT-FACED STORY SOUP is a story of a young woman’s journey through the fraught world of publishing accompanied only by a stuffed white rabbit called Ian. Her show is populated by all manner of personalities such as Marci, an über-bitch literary agent with an arsenal of acerbic put downs and a pair of Parisians who take pretentiousness to new heights. Bad literature and ‘Russian’ oligarchs join the French as subjects for Solon’s gentle skewering, presented with a fabulous knack for the unexpected word and a sharp eye for the ridiculous.
Along with great comedy, audiences can enjoy a superb Curry for just a fiver with the Guru Tandoori’s Curry deal. You can eat before the show, at the interval or afterwards and pick from a selection of dishes. For reservations call 020 8232 1011

"Solon always finds her mark and in the most entertaining way" **** Telegraph
“This is gag-driven, no extra fat character comedy containing as many flourishes as you would get in a good stand-up show with the added bonus of a cohesive narrative.” The Independent
