M4 Overnight Resurfacing Near Heathrow
Motorway to be closed regularly until mid-May
Sections of the M4 will be closed in a series of overnight closures near Heathrow for the next three weeks.
The work will be carried out overnight and involve carriageway and slip road closures to allow 3.7 miles of resurfacing. It is expected to be completed, weather permitting, in mid-May.
It will involve the overnight closures, in various phases, of the eastbound M4 between junctions 4 and 3, the westbound carriageway between the exit and entry slip roads at junction 4b, the westbound entry slip road at junction 4 and the westbound exit slip road at junction 5.
The work will be carried out overnight between the following times:
Monday to Thursday 10pm to 5.30am
Highways England say clearly signed diversion routes will be in place during the closures.
