Wooden climbing structures added to park

Exciting new play equipment will shortly be unveiled at Boston Manor Park.

The Friends of Boston Manor saw the wooden structures at a trade show four years ago and thought they would be excellent for the numerous active users of the park. 

Having successfully installed innovative outdoor equipment in the bowling green in 2013 and then, alongside Hounslow Council, created a brand new playground in 2014 - the incentive to find additional funding was on. 

Linda Massey from the Friends of Boston Manor said they were delighted when the London Marathon Trust agreed to support the project by providing £30,000 which was added to their own funds to deliver the project.

With little disruption to the park the project was delivered in just two weeks. 

1st May 2015
