|Retro, Eclectic Feel At Westside|
|At Bellway's stunning new show home at WestSide in Brentford
The new show home has been designed with young professionals in mind, focusing on their lifestyle, and draws on the vibrancy of the up and coming ‘café culture’ in Brentford by integrating its relaxing and sociable vibe into the property. Situated in West London, WestSide offers all of the benefits of metropolitan city living, and the new show home reflects this perfectly.
Zoe Dobbs, Sales Manager at Bellway North London comments: “For house-hunters, first impressions really do count, which is why it is great to see the reactions when buyers see this show home for the first time. The new duplex home demonstrates how to make the best use of the space and with the interior design scheme also adding more character and panache to this development, it is very hard not to be wowed.”
Philippa Marchant, Designer at Jane Clayton & Company focused on current fashions and discovered a trending retro, eclectic feel. Philippa also looked to the local area for inspiration and based her creative ideas around the regeneration of Brentford and the wider area of West London with its extensive mix of high street retailers, boutique shops and cafés. To recreate the edgy feel she sourced chic up-cycled furnishings whilst bringing in the retro aspect through stylish pieces of furniture.
When discussing the brief, Bellway highlighted the importance of the show home feeling like a real, comfortable home. Philippa comments: “My favourite piece of furniture is the distressed leather sofa; it makes the house feel really lived in and more tactile for people looking around. I didn’t want people to be afraid of touching things”.
WestSide is part of the comprehensive redevelopment of the former Alfa Laval office on the Great West Road in Brentford, and features a collection of 137 homes comprising of one, two and three bedroom apartments, as well as three and four bedroom duplexes, arranged over three buildings. The development also includes two brand new hotels, a car showroom and 4,680sqm of office accommodation.
Residents can escape the hustle and bustle of the city if they need a change of pace, with Kew Village located just over Kew Bridge. This quaint London village is the gateway to Kew’s famous Royal Botanic Gardens and also has an 18th century horseshoe-shaped centre dotted with cafés, restaurants and specialist shops.
The WestSide development is also conveniently close to the A4 and M4, whilst both Kew Bridge and Brentford train stations, with services to Clapham Junction and London Waterloo, are one mile from the apartments. Northfields and Boston Manor tube stations (Piccadilly line) are also within walking distance of the development and provide services to the city in less than 30 minutes.
The new show home is open from 10am until 5pm daily. Prices for a one bedroom apartment start from £324,995 and prices for a four bedroom duplex start at £599,995. For further information please call 0333 202 5149 or visit www.bellway.co.uk/new-homes/north-london/westside
