Jeans for Genes Day was celebrated at West Thames College on Friday 20 September. Fundraising activities were organised by Btec health and care students who spent the day collecting money from staff and students who wore denim to support the charity.

They also sold homemade cakes and cookies and ran an information stand to raise awareness of genetic disorders. Their hard work paid off as they raised a grand total of £339.97.

Jeans for Genes Day is held annually and aims to raise money for the charity Genetic Disorder UK. The charity aims to support children with genetic disorders.
