Season Opening – 15th March to 29th October 2023
We’re opening our doors for another season! If you’ve never been before, then make 2023 the year you discover this treasure house, a true hidden gem. Set amongst 200 acres of countryside, you’d never believe we are a few minutes-walk from the streets of Brentford and Isleworth .
Syon House was built in the Tudor period, on the site of an abbey that was there from 1426! Its magnificent interiors are neo-classical from the 18th century and are an amazing example of renowned architect Robert Adam’s finest work. At Syon there are so many stories from the medieval period through to the present day, kings and queens, politics and power, love, death and Henry VIII’s exploding corpse! The gardens are equally as magnificent, with a beautiful lake and woodland, lawns and a stunning Great Conservatory that featured in the Netflix production of ‘Bridgerton’ no less!
Come along, bring a picnic, or visit the cafe and restaurant next door at Hillier Garden Centre, or the bar at the Hilton.
Syon House is open three days a week – Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday (and Bank Holidays), the gardens are open five days a week from Wednesday to Sunday (and bank holidays). On Wednesdays and Thursdays in the house we run guided tours only, on Sundays and Bank Holidays you can roam at your own pace. And for local residents, we offer 20% off day admission, with proof of eligible postcode.

Eggcellent Easter Fun at Syon Park – Friday 7 th April to Monday 10th April 2023
Join us for Easter themed family friendly trails and treats in the House and Gardens. Follow the eggciting trail in the gardens and find all the clues for a treat. Enjoy storytelling and find out about Easter traditions in the house. Eggcellent fun! Kids go FREE during school holidays and Bank Holidays! (2 free kids per 1 paying adult)
House and gardens open throughout Easter Weekend, from Good Friday 7th to Easter Monday 10th April.

An Afternoon with Paul Martin – Thursday 20th April 2023
Enjoy a fabulous afternoon out at the magnificent Grade I listed Syon House in all its neo-classical splendour with a talk by the antique expert Paul Martin, presenter of BBC’s "Flog It!" and Channel 5’s "The Great Auction Showdown”.
During the day, Paul Martin will host a talk in the neoclassical Great Hall designed by Robert Adam, followed by a house tour and then tea and cakes and book signing in the Great Conservatory, bringing history alive in one of the country’s finest stately homes.
The London home of the Dukes of Northumberland, (the Percy family), Syon House was erected in 1547 with a classical interior designed by Robert Adam in the 1760s and a 200 acres parkland designed by the landscape designer Lancelot Capability Brown.
Syon House is less than 10 miles from central London and remains a beacon of tranquillity. It is one of Britain's best preserved stately homes.
Time: Arrive 1.30 for 2pm start in the Great Hall, for a talk and tour of the house and then tea cakes and book signing in the conservatory at 4pm, finishes at 6pm

Coronation Celebration – Monday 8th May 2023
To celebrate the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla, we are throwing open the gates so you can visit our beautiful gardens and Great Conservatory for FREE! on Monday 8th May - Bank Holiday!
Come along, no need to book, just turn up, bring a coronation picnic and walk around the lake and the natural play areas, enjoy the wildlife! Dress up in your most royal costume, put on your tiaras, there'll be crafts, facepainting and storytelling for the kids too!
Also, why not visit the house and take part in the 'Royal Trail', it's just £5 for adults, and kids go FREE.

Foodies Festival – Saturday 27th to Monday 29th May 2023
Join us at Syon Park for Foodies Festival 2023 – our biggest celebration yet of top chefs, tasty food, delicious drinks and live music.
Watch MasterChef Champions, Michelin-starred and top local chefs cooking their signature summer recipes in The Chefs Theatre.
Learn how to make show-stopping cakes in The Cake & Bake Theatre with expert bakers. Great British Bake Off stars including 2022 winner Syabira Yusoff will share their best baking hints and tips live on stage with easy to make recipes that are as delicious to look at as they are to eat.
Sample new wines, champagnes and cocktails in The Drinks Theatre. Eat delicious street food from around the world. Taste new flavours. Meet artisan producers. Have fun all day with chilli eating competitions and food challenges! Kids join in the fun at The Kids Cookery Theatre.
