Friday, June 15th saw representatives from two Hounslow primary schools attend a staff team building day at West London Audi.

The team building activity included the Audi staff building and donating 4 children’s mountain bikes to the schools. Representatives including teachers and parents accompanied pupils at the event where they were treated to presentations from the Audi staff linked directly to their individual schools.

Hounslow Town and Lionel Primary are two local schools that the Trust work in as part of our school sport delivery programme. We were delighted that we could build upon our partnership with West London Audi and see the bikes donated to good homes where they can be used regularly by the pupils throughout the year.

Tracy Lalley, a representative from Audi UK said: “A part of building a new team involves identifying each other’s strengths and weaknesses, communicating effectively and working together for a common goal.  All of these skills were applied in our teambuilding event at West London Audi with the finale being presentations and the handover of 4 bikes to representatives of 2 local primary schools.  This added an extra special feel to the day for our staff as they had the opportunity to combine learning with giving back to the community.  Thank you to all involved for helping bring a sense of determination and focus to the day and a special thanks to Brentford Community Sports Trust for engaging the schools with our project.”
