6th Brentford Air Scouts have been part of the Brentford community for 90 years.  A busy group based off Church Wak, 6th Brentford have thriving Beaver, Cub and Scout sections, catering for girls and boys between the ages of 6-14 years.

Sadly, the Cub leader has decided to retire after many years of dedicated service and will finish in July.

New leaders are desperately needed who would be prepared to attend pack meetings from now, with a view to taking over from September.  Without a Cub pack, the Beavers and Scouts sections would not be able to survive either and the community would lose an incredible asset for young people.

The Cub pack currently meets on a Tuesday evening from 6:30 – 8pm and offers activities, games and badge work for both girls and boys aged 8-10 years. If you enjoy working with young people, would like to help them explore the world and introduce them to a wealth of experiences and are able to dedicate an evening a week, Scouts would love to hear from you.

Previous experience would be wonderful but equally those who are looking for a new challenge would be welcome as there is always training available from the Scouting movement and, if you are able to begin now, the chance to work alongside the current cub leader and develop the skills on the job.

Please get in contact if you feel you could help and support in any way. For further information, please contact one of the current leaders at laurabarry82@yahoo.co.uk  It would be a tragedy if Brentford community were to lose yet another valuable resource. Please help keep 6th Brentford Air Scouts alive for another 90 years.
